Fall Fun

October 31, 2008

I love meeting new families and the L. family was no exception!  We had a great time at the park this last weekend.  And once again Mother Nature provided great weather, even in late October!

Family Fun

October 28, 2008

People are always surprised when I suggest outdoor photography in October and November but honestly in Colorado the weather is more often than not perfect for it, not too hot, great colors and beautiful backdrops.

With Christmas just around the corner I will be running three Holiday specials!

They are valid through November 30th – you can save ten, fifteen or even 20 percent!

(and yes, I gave them cute little names just for the heck of it!)

Sugar Plum – $140 ($155 value – 10% off) – (1)11×14, (2)8×10, (2)5×7, and (2)wallet sets

 Gingerbread – $196 ($230 value – 15% off!) – (50)5×7 custom designed holiday cards, (1)8×10, (6)5×7, and (2)wallet sets

 Sleigh Bells – $275 ($345 value – 20% off!) – (1)16×20, (2)11×14 (25) 5×7 custom designed holiday cards, (4)5×7, and (2)wallet sets

(collections cannot be altered, no substitutions allowed,
additional portraits may be purchased at regular price, shipping fees and taxes
may apply)

I love fall (almost as much as I love winter!)  There are great colors everywhere, the weather here in Colorado is amazing and it is a great time to do photography!

I know this family from my mom’s group at church and it was so much fun to get to photograph them now that they are a family of four!

And little Miss G is just the best big sister!

Where does time go?

October 23, 2008

If you’re anything like me you look at your children and wonder where has the time gone?  I remember the first time I saw my son and now he is a first grader, in cub scouts, telling jokes, reading books, putting teeth under his pillow for the tooth fairy, wanting to hang out with *his* friends and the big brother to two younger siblings – and I’m pretty sure I only blinked once or twice and that happened!

And if you’re anything like me, even though I am a photographer, I still don’t take as many photos as I’d like – schedules are busy, that are not enough hours in the days but in my heart I know if I don’t take the pictures now, I won’t get this time back later to do it.

So if you’ve been meaning to schedule but have been putting it off for this reason or that – stop! – and make that couple of hours a priority!  Contact me today!  I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy 10, 15, 20 years from now that you did!

Erick and Lacey

October 10, 2008

So what do you get when add cold temperatures, high wind and rain?  One of the funniest engagement sittings I’ve ever done!  We were fighting all the elements but I don’t think I have laughed that hard in months – Erick and Lacey were such a joy to work with, I know their wedding is going to be a blast!

Wedding Price Change!

October 9, 2008

Wow!  How is it already October?  The start of the fourth quarter brings some good news and maybe you some bad news?  You decide!

First and foremost – on October 23rd (two weeks from today) my wedding prices will be changing!  That means all price sheets sent out with the old prices on them will be void on October 23rd unless there is a signed contract!  That means if you have been waiting to get your wedding booked you have exactly two weeks before the prices go up!  Hurry! Hurry!

Secondly – bookings for 2009 weddings is in full swing!  No wedding dates are held without a signed contract and deposit!  I have met with many wonderful couples these last couple of weeks but I cannot and will not hold your date with your contract and deposit.

Finally – there are some really neat new options coming with the release of my new wedding prices – including a destination engagement sitting complete with a relaxing weekend for you and yours – be sure to check back on the 23rd to learn more!

Thank you so much to everyone who supports my business, I couldn’t do it without you!

I love this time of year – the cooler weather, the changing leaves, all the yummy vegetables and if it is fall it can only mean one thing – Christmas is right around the corner!

Little Miss A. is growing up!  6 months already?  Wow!

Phew!  It has been a busy couple of weeks!  Lots and lots of seniors, I enjoyed shooting each and every one of them!  And Garrett was no exception!  We did these the day after homecoming so I’m sure he was tired!
