Miss E.’s parents got the best Christmas present of all this year

Wow – where has December gone?  

I’m admittedly behind on sharing all the wonderful photographs that have been taken this month but lets start with this one.

You gotta love brothers! 

He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.

We’ve been getting snow here in Colorado and lots of it – which is great because we need the moisture!  

Even better this mom didn’t mind that outdoor sitting had to include hats and mittens!  We had so much fun!  

Yup – it is true, Chris and Katrice were the first wedding I ever shot and now they have a beautiful little baby boy that I had the honor of shooting last week.  It was such a delight to meet him, what a blessing!
