It is hard to believe that Sarah was two when I met her Uncle.  She has grown from an adorable toddler to an engaging and bright young woman.  Being so young when I met her I doubt she remembers what her life without Aunt Ule, and honestly, I couldn’t imagine my life without her in it either!

Can I even articulate how much fun it was to shoot these four this weekend?  Each one’s distinctive and outgoing personality just made it that much more fun.  Their jokes, their stories, I love every moment!

My holiday portraits are in full swing and I am loving every moment of it!  We were graced with a beautiful day for this sitting and the boys were so silly and having so much fun, I truly enjoyed them.  This is my second year shooting these two and I adore their Mother and I fall in love with them more every time!

I have photographed their adorable grandson and now I got a chance to photograph them and their “baby” Meg.  I love the colors this time of year, the reds, the yellows, they all are so vibrant.  They actually won a gift certificate to Ule Logue Photography at the silent auction that was a part of the annual Rowan Tree Foundation Charity Benefit night.

A friend of mine from high school hosted a portrait party this weekend.  We had so much fun, the sun even came out long enough that some of the families were able to nab outdoor portraits!

What is a portrait party you asked?

You’ll find this is a low pressure and relaxed opportunity for beautiful portraits. No sales are made at the party and there are no sitting fees.

How does it work?

And here are some photos from this weekend’s fun!

Hollie contacted me a few months ago about doing photography for her and her family.  Her husband was graduating with his masters degree and she was planning a surprise party for him and while his entire family was in town she wanted to do family photography.  It feels a little odd posting these wonderful pictures of them in the sun and green grass as I’m watching snow fall outside but that’s Colorado weather for you!

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of shooting head shots for JoAnn’s business, this time we took portraits of her entire family.  I had so much fun, her children and husband (and JoAnn too!) were wonderful to work with!

These are the wonderful accordion wallet albums that come with this year’s holiday special.  Aren’t they cute?  They are 3×3 and perfect for your purse or briefcase.  What is even better is that they come in sets of three so you can keep one for yourself and give two away as presents – grandparents LOVE them!  They come hardbound and with your choice of cover material and color so no two are ever the same!  I am litteraly down to scheduling my last couple of holiday portrait sittings so if you’ve been holding off scheduling now is the time to call!
