This family is very near and dear to my heart.  My husband has known both mom and dad since high school and that cute little girl happens to be my Goddaughter!  We headed up to Devil’s Head for some beautiful fall colors and we were not disappointed!

Why are you waiting to have family photos done? Want to lose those ten pounds? Are you too busy? Want to outgrow that hair style? Maybe you’re thinking next year?

Look at your children at this very moment. Now think back to what they looked like one year ago. Now guess what they’ll look like in one year. You have nothing but this moment to preserve this memory.

The mom here happens to be a very good and dear friend of mine as well as the owner of Bussie Cupcakes ala Mode, Castle Rock’s own organic (and super yummy) bakery.  Sadly right after our sitting she got some devastating news about a family member.  My heart aches for their pain and I wish them all the peace in the world.

So I have had the pleasure of photography Shannon’s older brother and sister for their senior pictures and I was delighted this year when they contacted me to do Shannon’s!

I have been shooting a lot of seniors lately – it is just that time of year!  And of course I am behind on sharing their sneak peeks here on the blog so here you go!

Rebecca was so nice!  I really enjoyed meeting her and her family and hearing about her desires to peruse her trumpet – wow!

Again, my blog has received not a lot of love from me lately because I’ve been so busy!  But here is some important things to note – I have four, yes only four, holiday dates left and then I am booked up for 2010!  Every year I have to tell people no and I hate that but I also have to be realistic, I just cannot fit in more than what I already schedule.  So if you want a sitting please contact me today.
